The pressure is on and we’ve picked the most romantic NJ Valentine’s Day restaurants that are sure to send sparks flying.
North Jersey:
The River Palm Terrace
One of the area’s best steakhouses is offering Valentine’s Day specials and desserts alongside their regular dinner menu. Stop by The River Palm Terrace for an amazing food and wine list and of course, individually hand-selected dry-aged prime beef.
Viaggio Ristorante
For a taste of Italy, Viaggio’s Chef Robbie is cooking up a special four-course Italian-themed menu. At $69 per person, diners can dig into antipasti, rustic pasta dishes, an entrée of their choosing and finish with decadent desserts.
Son Cubano
If you’re looking for a little music with your meal, Son Cubano is the spot for romantic NJ Valentine’s Day restaurants. They’re calling it “Valentine’s Day Under the Stars” and will feature a live latin dance performance with a DJ and percussion, in addition to a three-course prix-fixe menu for $85 per person. Don’t forget about the complimentary champagne!
Fleming’s Steakhouse
Starting today through February 18th (yes, before and after V-Day), Fleming’s will be presenting a four-course prix-fixe menu for those who can’t make it work this coming Wednesday. If you’re seeking a classic steakhouse dinner, Fleming’s has got you covered.
Maritime Parc
Dine waterfront at New Jersey’s Liberty Landing Marina when you book a table at Maritime Parc. They’re serving a three-course prix-fixe dinner at $80 per person, made entirely from the best local, organic and sustainable ingredients.
Biagio’s
Nothing says romance like cozying up next to a stone fireplace. At Biagio’s, you and your loved one can sit fireside and split a “Dinner for Two” or indulge in any of their Valentine’s Day delights.
Central Jersey:
Osteria Morini
There’s nothing not to love about a dinner at Osteria Morini. If all you want to do is to slurp down a big bowl of pasta, we won’t shame you for it. On Valentine’s Day they’ll be serving a three-course menu featuring some Morini favorites, as well as exciting new menu items and an optional battilardo course (meat and cheese board) is available at an additional price.
Ninety Acres
If you and your loved one want to go all out, reserve your spot now at Ninety Acres for an elegant four-course, farm-fresh, prix-fixe menu. The night will run you about $135.00 per person, an additional $65 for wine pairings and $40.00 for kids 12 and younger. But if we were you, we’d leave the kids at home.
The Frog and the Peach
When it comes to NJ Valentine’s Day restaurants, The Frog and the Peach has been doing it right for over 30 years. Featuring the freshest locally sourced meat, seafood and produce, their cuisine is a riff on imaginative, New American cuisine. This Valentine’s Day the restaurant will be serving a three-course prix-fixe menu at $88, with optional wine pairings for $40.
South Jersey:
Pascal & Sabine
A classic French bistro does a modern take on romance at Pascal & Sabine. The European-style brasserie is showcasing their regular menu for Valentine’s Day, plus a special six-course option if you’re looking to indulge. Not to mention their large-format punch bowls are perfect for sharing.
Rooney’s Oceanfront Dining
Just because it’s February doesn’t mean you can’t sit by the waterfront. Enjoy Rooney’s Oceanfront Dining and their a la carte menu, along with a couple innovative specials for the big day. The restaurant will also have live music in their bar area from the talented soul singer, Michael Ghegan.
Cross & Orange
At Cross & Orange, their menu pays tribute to “the makers and doers” where everything is made entirely from scratch—and Valentine’s Day is no exception. They’ll be offering a three-course prix-fixe menu featuring high-end American fare and creative cocktails for restaurant goers.
