The Best NJ Easter Brunch Menus

Aside from the fact that brunch is the best meal of the day, Easter Sunday is a special kind of holiday. For those of you who partake, you’ve made it through Lent and now it’s finally time to celebrate. Whether you need a place to go after church or post-egg hunting—we’ve rounded up the top NJ Easter brunch menus. (Reservations are encouraged.)

Avenue
Switch things up by indulging in a French-inspired Easter brunch at Avenue in Long Branch. While sitting waterside, the brasserie will be cooking up chef-crafted dishes including rack of lamb with a ratatouille stuffed tomato; zucchini watercress soup with French feta cream; and hand-chopped steak tartare topped with a quail egg. For the purists, they’ll also be serving french toast with sea salt butter, eggs benedict and buttermilk pancakes with maple butter, to name a few.

City Perch Kitchen + Bar

Before (or after) you catch a flick at iPic Hudson Lights, stop by City Perch Kitchen + Bar for “Easter Brunch Over-Easy” on Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Along with an egg hunt and bunny photo-op for the kids, their brunch buffet will include Chef Sherry Yard’s signature breads and pastries, a salad bar, assorted berries, seafood platters, a carving station with honey roasted ham and brioche crusted crab cakes, and City Perch classics such as eggs benedict, latke fries, stuffed french toast and chicken and waffles. In addition, there will also be a dessert set-up which will offer our favorite brioche doughnuts along with seasonal sweets.

Halifax
Nothing says NJ Easter brunch like a little bubbly and at Halifax in Hoboken, for $32 they’re offering guests a bottle of sparkling wine with specially-made Easter pastries and sweets. There will also be unlimited small plates to pick from, reminiscent of Chef Seadon Shouse’s Nova Scotian upbringing. Think smoked salmon with horseradish cream and deviled eggs with smoked herring.

Vanillamore Dessert Kitchen

Just in time for Easter, Vanillamore Dessert Kitchen will be rolling out their new spring menu. From 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, sample offerings from their seasonal pastry basket; ricotta and apricot toast with hazelnuts and honey; or blueberry pancakes topped with lemon zest. Whether you’re craving sweet or savory—they’ve got you covered.

Crystal Springs
This year, Crystal Springs will be hosting six different Easter celebrations ranging from romantic dinners and brunch buffets, to an organized egg hunt for the kids. For a rundown of all the festivities, click here.

Del Frisco’s Grille
At Del Frisco’s Grille, they’re sprucing up their spring brunch menu with greener dishes such as the kale and Brussels sprout salad to balance out the rest of their deeply indulgent offerings. For those interested, they include red velvet Belgian waffles with whipped vanilla bean spiked cream cheese; Nonna’s cinnamon rolls with bourbon-espresso caramel sauce; and braised short rib hash with bordelaise and béarnaise sauce. Wash that all down with some of their “crack coffee” or a nice bloody mary and I’d say that’s a pretty good way to spend Easter Sunday.

Reyla
Dive deep into the Mediterranean this Sunday at Reyla in Asbury Park. Cooking up Middle Eastern cuisine inspired by Lebanon, Morocco, Turkey and Greece—Reyla will be spicing up NJ Easter brunch with bold dishes like latkes with lamb loin shawarma, poached eggs in a harissa sauce (similar to shakshuka) and a squash frittata with tomatoes, mint and vegan tzatziki.

Liberty House
Starting at 11:00 a.m., stop by Liberty House in Jersey City for an NJ Easter brunch buffet where they’ll be serving assorted baked goods and pastries, cheese and fruit plates and antipasti salad. They will also have an omelet station (because, why not?), a mashed potato bar and both carving and pasta stations. To attend, it’s $58 per adult and $29 per child.

Molos
Right across the river from Manhattan, Molos wants you to celebrate on the waterfront. Inside their dining room they’ll be offering a buffet-style brunch for $59 per adult and $25 per child from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Guests can dine on a variety of egg dishes, omelets and pastas, along with a hot station including chicken, veggies and salmon. There will also be a raw bar serving oysters, smoked salmon and crawfish.
