Revving into the Future: New York Auto Museum Announces Major Manhattan Debut

The automotive world is about to experience a seismic shift, right in the heart of Manhattan.

Introducing the New York Auto Museum (NYA): a 200,000-square-foot, world-class destination dedicated to the past, present, and future of automotive design and innovation. With a mission to ignite global automotive conversation, NYA is poised to become a cultural and educational epicenter for car lovers, design enthusiasts, families, and futurists alike.

More Than a Museum—A Movement
NYA isn’t your typical car museum with roped-off exhibits and signs behind glass. It’s an immersive experience, meticulously crafted to celebrate design, culture, technology, and innovation through the lens of mobility.

Imagine walking through a museum where you can view rare and concept vehicles from above and below via glass floor sections, interact with tablet-based display enhancements, and enjoy the thrill of racing simulators and video games, all under one roof. One of the most unique aspects of the new Museum will be your ability to sit in and explore up to 100 vehicles at any given time.

Key pillars of the museum’s vision include:
● Focusing on past & future automotive design and technology
● Educational programming for all ages
● An on-site theatre showcasing historic and forward-thinking auto content
● Interactive exhibits and smartphone-accessible enhancements
● Game room with racing simulators and immersive tech
● Full café/restaurant and retail space offering OEM-branded merchandise

One of the NYA’s crown jewels will be the World Motorsport Hall of Fame Pavilion, developed in strategic alignment with the differing Motorsports Hall of Fame. This 10,000–20,000 sq. ft. space will feature a rotating display of the world’s most iconic motorsport vehicles, high-profile galas, premieres, lectures, and corporate events.

With its location just a short ride away in Manhattan, the NYA offers Long Island families, students, and auto aficionados a new cultural touchstone. Its educational programming, design innovation, and immersive approach make it a perfect fit for school trips, weekend excursions, and industry networking alike.

The New York Auto Museum isn’t just another showroom, it’s a cultural milestone, blending nostalgia and next-gen innovation under one roof. For Long Islanders, it’s a nearby destination destined to impact tourism, education, and community pride, while celebrating our shared automotive love story. With a bold, future-facing approach, it promises to inspire, engage, and entertain in a way few institutions ever have.
